XXX (besides written thirty), pronounced "Triple X", occurs as 2002 action movie starring Vin Diesel. XXX was marketed as a James Bond style film for the new millennium & featured similar gadgetry, international schemes & intrigues, villain-sponsored choose-across-the-globe schemes backed higher by doomsday equipment, a female co-star / love interest, & outrageous stunts (when Roger Ebert put it, "Why blow up two cars when you can blow up twenty?").

XXX was written by Rich Wilkes, directed by Rob Cohen (who as well directed Diesel around 2001's The Fast and the Furious), and produced by Neal H. Moritz for Revolution Studios. Stuntperson Harry L. O'Connor was killed in an accident during filming.

The sequel was freed inside 2005, titled XXX: State of the Union, starring rap artist/actor Ice Cube and Willem Dafoe.

Plot summary
Tagline: A freshly breed of intelligence officer.

Vin Diesel stars as Xander "XXX" Cage, an extreme sports star that gets in condition by having a law. He's given a risk of getting the charges against him dropped, by working as an undercover professional for NSA agent Augustus Gibbons (played by Samuel L. Jackson).

Betting XXX may succeed in which more conventional spies own failed, Gibbons sends him to to infiltrate a Lawlessness 99 - an underground Russian crime ring - undetected, using his natural athletic art & a sight of attitude.

When a story unfolds, XXX have had to prevent a Anarchy 99's plans to unleash Ahab, the solar-powered robotic submarine which mission is to terminate the world's virtually all large capital cities by owning chemical WMDs.
